The poll would have been better if it was more balanced. Basically if you vote "no" you are not a American. Personally I think that overuse of the image of the American Flag makes it trite. Think about it: We have plates, cups. napkins, tablecloths, etc., that we set our plates on, spill stuff on, wad up and throw in the garbage. We have floor mats, door mats, carpet, etc., that we walk on, across and wipe our feet on. We have clothing (t-shirts excluded) pants which we sit on, underwear (we won't go there). When did the symbol of the Flag become worth so little? People have fought and died for the freedoms that the American Flag represent. Let's give it a little more respect than just a decoration. {steps off soapbox}.
