I'm 32 on all my characters. I play fairly often and run raids over and over each week. I swordbear, beast at crucible and enjoy doing so. Pretty standard back story. What I don't enjoy is how many people on this game aren't willing to put in the time to teach new comers/lower levels what to do or help them out. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO RAIDS. Countless times I've dropped down into the Abyss with a full team only to hear the lower levels being told to sit and wait while others run it. Or getting to Crota only to realize that 29 doesn't have a maxed out tracking rocket and making them stay inside as if they still won't contribute to taking him down. NO. I hate that bullshit. Especially if it's your first time running it and you're still learning. You get up and you come with me otherwise HOW ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO LEARN AND GET BETTER FFS. This is the whole problem with this community. Too many arrogant people wanting to lead and take control over everyone else and not enough realising they aren't better simply because they have a Gjallarhorn or are 32. They won't ever learn if nobody wants to teach them or help them out and show them how to play. Hell, my clan has spent hours doing Atheon teaching newbies how to run it and what to do. Oh no we wiped over and over and they made mistakes and it took two hours just to kill Atheon. Pfffft who cares. Guaranteed we all had fun and enjoyed ourselves. Not quite sure what I'm trying to get at here but I'm just over how people get treated simply because for whatever reason they aren't the best player on the team. I hate it. Just wanting to know if anybody agreed and if you had stories to share about the kind of bs you've had to deal with whilst playing this game :)

I do run across way too many cocky, disruptive players. Some don't seem to be happy unless they're pissing someone off. It's almost impossible sometimes to be matched with 2 players in strikes that play as a team. They run ahead, hop on their sparrows and try to screw with others. Last night, while doing the Nexus, someone tried to push me off of the top while aiming down the sights. I have 3 32s and over 100 raids under my belt so I'm not a "noob" to be teased. And I won't let someone try to spoil my experience just because they weren't taught manners and respect for others. I never mind who I do a raid with as long as they are taking it seriously, willing to stick with it and are respectful. I have Gjallarhorn but, in my opinion, if you need one to "win" a raid then you need to work on your skill. I just got my first one about a month ago and have completed a lot since September without it.
