Buying this game in about 20 minutes, what character thing should I pick? And go with a strength/dex build I've been told? Never played one of these games before so I'm ready for a rage fest

For your first build I'd suggest a cleric/faith build. Extra healing will come in handy.

Depends on what kind of weapons you want to use.

I run the same. Definitely dex/strength. I also recommend finding a Heide Knight Sword. It is reel gooood
