I used to come here every spare minute I could and peruse the forums, with my guilty pleasure being #Offtopic. These days, I'm lucky if I check in once every couple weeks or so...
I miss the days I enjoyed here. I miss meeting the people here, and I miss making new friends here. I miss the late night gaming sessions with random people, the pointless funny conversations I'd have, getting to seeing a friend in a random thread... it almost feels like a chapter in my life is closing. One that was defined by my time spent here.
I know I should be happy about all the new things on my horizon, with the prospect of college on my mind, but at the same time I'm reluctant to let the page turn to that new chapter. I feel like I'm holding my finger on this chapter, so that even though I'll start getting farther through the book that is my life, I can always turn back to this past chapter. I guess I have a hard time letting go.
In retrospect I'm not sure why I made this thread, or what I'm expecting from it. I think I just wanted to put my thoughts to paper, so to speak.
It's only right I give you guys something to respond to, after going through the trouble of reading what I wrote. What were some of your favorite memories here? Why do you cherish them?

Man, oh man. I am so excited for you. At this point in your life, you should go out and live a little. Don't let a bunch of cynical internet-dwellers keep you hostage like they do for so many of us. Live it up, and love it.
