Borderlands is extremely straightforward. You know why you're there, why everyone else is there. The only mysteries are certain technologies and certain aliens. It's meant to be fun. I love borderlands.
However.
Destiny has a TON of mystery to it still. Rasputin. The darkness. The Vault. The traveler. The legends. The causal time loop...it's like a mystery novel, with amazing scenery. I love destiny slightly more than borderlands.
Oh, and the raids. Never done anything like it, and I really enjoy those.

Never done anything like a raid? I've done dungeons that are harder and more time consuming than a raid. Also get better quality drops. But bungie and activision haven't ever played a good game before it seems
