Mordecai was my guy in the first one. Everyone I know was pissed. They couldn't believe it. BL has some pretty heavy stuff in it.

I'm glad you had an emotional connection to Borderlands but I don't take Borderlands as serious as Destiny because it's more slapstick, and I don't think the larger themes are as serious either.

The only story destiny has is shoot stuff while I get the door if you think other wise your a fanboy

I can understand where you're coming from. Borderlands is ment to be more of a for fun game and Destiny is set to make it feel like there is going to be consequences to what's going on. I just made more of a connection to borderlands. I had a lot of friends I played with.

My post was strictly in response to the OP's question... I agree with you different types of shooters with very different atmospheres.

I totally understand... My brother loves Borderlands, I tried and it wasn't for me but I get that a ton of people really like it.
