That thing is so annoying to deal with for real. Don't know which bonfire you exactly got 2nd but, near ogres just keep on heading straight through climb ladder, then next area on left side keep going straight through, you'll find another bonfire soon after another ladder. From that bonfire go down the ladder look left go straight take first left and follow the path. There will be on turtle there and firebomb guy. Get past them climb ladder down watch out for enemies on your right. Your gonna end up going left tho, go through door and you'll find 2 spear nights with a fog wall. Once you get through there will be a shortcut and a elevator to the first boss.
