Continuing on LOL going back to skim through the article again.
There was a piece in there about genetic info, you would be correct in saying there is no increase in genetic info, the info is slightly changed in offspring and if enough info is changed then it becomes a new species.(millions of years are required to get a new species)

Oh wow, did you really just say that genetic info can be put into computers?!? No no no, WRONG, genetic info is not computer coding information it is chemical balances, through generations they slightly change also microevolution is not reversible so to speak, if you put an animal in one environment it evolves to live Most efficiently in that environment, if you change the environment it will evolve to Live in that new environment, it is not reverting changes it is just changing to suit its environment.
