I've been thinking...I have never met someone who hasn't enjoyed Halo. No matter what they play on, they have enjoyed Halo. So my question is, do any of you dislike Halo? Not a game, but as a whole.
Note: By dislike I mean you have never enjoyed a single Halo game.
EDIT: There are more than I thought.

Now how about since Halo 5: Guardians is out..? ;)
-
Halo used to be my favorite game, and then Halo 4 was created.
-
I hated it. Just not my thing. Too loose on the controls, too much floating and jumping. Not much diff from Destiny though I guess. Lol

I actually have something against Halo... And please hear me out before you shit on me. Okay for those of you who don't know, Bungie made a game back in 1994 called Marathon. This game was revolutionary. It was the first game where you could actually look in any direction, which already made it much more advanced than Doom. Not to mention it has one of the greatest, most in depth sci-fi storylines I think I've ever heard. But that's where things get interesting... In Marathon, you play as a super solider who has to team up with an eccentric AI to defend a human colony on Tau Ceti from a group of alien races, which leads you to helping protect the universe from an ancient entity that could destroy the universe. Remarkably, this sounds pretty damn close to the Halo storyline. Not to mention literally every game mode in Halo that everyone claims is so revolutionary and mind blowing were already in Marathon. Now, am I saying Halo is shit? Oh god no. I actually enjoy Halo quite a bit, and while much of the storyline is not as original as everyone thinks, there's certainly a lot in there that's new and exciting. My problem with Halo is that it is, for the most part, a reskin of an older game, and yet all the Halo fanboys maintain that it's totally one hundred percent original. I guess I just want to see Marathon get some credit as it is an amazing game. Again, I don't hate Halo, I actually do like it quite a bit.

There are days I despise halo. Days where I want to break my controller. Days where I throw up my arms and say.... "Why? Why you do dis to me!?" Halo is like an abusive woman I keep going back to for more. She sometimes slaps the shit outa me. Downright after years of being together suddenly makes me feel like it meant nothing. Another guy rolls up and shows me how it's "done" ohhhh how humiliating it can be! =( Said guy suddenly sends me a msg "Git gud" !!!!!!!!!!!....... When I get my way with her though, it's an awesome experience =)
off days suck. Hehehe
I'll say crap about Halo 4 but it was alright. Definitely didn't live up to the original 3 though.
-
I've never played one cuz I've never been interested
-
Uh me And plenty of other people. It's a generic shooter. And a bad generic shooter at that.
-
Only PlayStation fanboys hate halo

Edited by Dark Xedrix: 8/22/2015 8:43:53 AMBungie is like a 15 year old kid who makes awesome stuff with Lego. He builds this masterpiece that his parents (Microsoft) are impressed with. He then went on to build another 2 masterpieces that fit seamlessly with the first one to create something truly amazing. He leaves for school one morning and his little brother (343i), inspired by what he has created, tries to recreate a forth structure to fit with the original trio. He fails miserably and breaks all four. But 343i is crafty; he patches up the first two to make them look better and plans to remake the third in 2017. Meanwhile he is trying to build a fifth "masterpiece" to fit the pile of broken Lego on the floor before him. His parents are hyping him up to their friends and setting expectations to match his older brothers original work that he cannot possibly meet. Bungie gets back from school and sees the pile of shit that was once a work of art lying in a heap on the floor. "meh" he says and goes upstairs to his room with his boyfriend Activision where he will be dominated and forced to make a new "masterpiece". The parents are all the while laughing as the tubes connected to their black hearts are being slowly pumped full of money the younger son is making. Halo needs to die

I dislike Halo. -Nuff said
-
Nope, wait what people actually dislike epically made and great games that come with a story and have an awesome multiplayer to boot? Surely not, well not unless they are idiots, trolls or console fanboys.
-
There were several b.old users who hated Halo. IRL I had a few mates who thought it was pretty meh, and Ukimoi is known to hold it in low regard.

Halo was one of the first games I ever played on the OG Xbox and probably the reason I got into playing video games. I've played all 4 and can honestly say some of my best gaming moments came from the first 3. unfortunately, at least for me now, it doesn't have that spark it once had. It's lost that "sheen". It should've ended at 3 but I'll give the benefit of the doubt and say 4 wasn't too bad and could've ended there. I just wish it would die off and something new would come along. But that'll never happen cause halo= tons of $$$ and Microsoft like any company wants $$$.

It's an arcade game, whats to like?
-
Dislike? I just hate people overhyping it. It's a generic shooter.

Edited by Neutrill: 9/15/2015 1:40:50 AMI've never been that big on Halo tbh.

I like halo, but if you think that some mindless FPS is "the best game ever", then you're probably a fanboy. It's basically CoD with a more structured story.
-
I played Halo CE, Reach, and 4 and I never like any of them.
-
Only halo game I didn't like was halo 4

Edited by Muted: 9/13/2015 5:42:19 PMEvery COD BK ever to exist ever in life ever Side note: i stopped after halo 2 so i cant comment on the rest. I heard 3 was aight and 4-whatever else sucked lol
