Look at the multiverse theory/hypothesis not sure of where it stands in science but you get the gist, it says that there are many universes, each one slightly different, each one has planets that can and cannot support life, each life form survives differently under different conditions. We could live on planets with different conditions, it wouldn't be venues or Neptune, but there are other planets in our universe that can and may support other life.
