Should everyone be granted The Dark Below's multiplayer maps?

Sure, give everyone the maps...

No way, I PAID for those maps!

Bungie said in their weekly update that the Crucible maps from The Dark Below will "become the domain of all" and be added to the rotation for regular Crucible playlists. I have to wonder; does this mean they will grant access for these maps to EVERYONE, rather than just those who purchased the DLC? Or will it be like it was in Halo, where you only get to play the maps if you happen to be matched with others who have them? I bought the Season Pass, and I have to say, if they were to unlock The Dark Below's Crucible maps for everyone... I'd be cool with that. So long as I get to play the maps more often, sure; give them to all manner of penniless and thrifty bastards alike.

  • I like the idea of having those maps in the normal rotation. It will be easier to get games on those maps and it will add new stuff to IB. I'm guessing that they will use some of them for Trials of Osiris, and that is why they are adding them. Of course they will likely add HoW maps to Trials as well, making it locked out certain weeks for players that do not own the DLC. Think of it as you were just renting exclusive content for a while.
