I could go on about that death battle outcome with you for all eternity. But I won't. Goku blows up planets at his best, Superman survives that shit on a regular day. Goku is written to surpass all limits, Suerman is written to ALWAYS prevail in the end. Like an actual fight, Goku and Superman will have no idea about each other's weaknesses before the battle, therefore arguments about Goku blowing up the Sun to weaken Superman is invalid as Goku wouldn't had found that out in time. That is my 2 cents on that matter, which is why I agree with the Death Battle prefight analysis. Note that I don't favour either Goku or Supes, but I've read and seen enough random comics, manga and shows of those two to know, that both guys are badasses in their own right, but only Supes had survived being killed off for real. So you can go on and probably come up with something that makes Goku seem more godlike than he is, but my judgement is set.
