I'm fairly new to the souls series and I'm wondering what weapons are good for a swordsman to use? I'm only a little way into the game so that would probably limit the weapons I can get

Edited by A Je5ter: 5/3/2015 1:35:00 PMI like the bastard sword. Not as quick as a longsword but it's a beast one you get the moveset down. I like the heide knight sword as well for when I need the faster attacks.

That happened to me too. Mines up to +8 now though and is still a very viable weapon. I plan on infusing it first chance I get.
