That's the wrong way around. If I can't tell from the accent (which I usually can), I always ask if someone is from New Zealand first. The reason being that Aussies generally just laugh if you ask if they're from NZ, whereas Kiwis can get very defensive if you ask if they're from Australia :)

Lol, sometimes it's the other way around, my raid team is comprised of two americans one australian and 3 new zealanders, its really fun during raids to share together our cultures customs and experiences
