My neighbors have been stealing my wifi over and over again. They've even taken my password for it. So, after weeks of telling them not to take it, I had enough. So I started working on code.
Whenever a new device tries to log in, they will grant consent for a security check. That security check will lock the device until a 40-character code is entered.
Its going to be a fun evening when my neighbors try to watch HBO.
EDIT: They're so mad. So very, very mad. They threatened to sue until I pointed out that this was just a security measure I had installed. So I offered to unlock their device, which they accepted. I don't think I'm going to need to do that again.

So you're skilled enough to write code sophisticated enough to infiltrate other devices and lock them without a download... but not skilled enough to properly secure your router.... And your neighbors are skilled enough to somehow leech your WEP key.. repeatedly.. but not skilled enough to recognize your code or get around it..... Am I missing something here....?

I heard it was illegal to steal wifi without the owners consent. Some people have even been prosecuted
-
M8. Set a WPA-PSK key. Shit uses temporal keying and a 128 bit encryption. I doubt they will be able to crack that nut.
Protect yo' wi-fi bruddah.
-
They're suing you because they can't use your wifi?
-
Judge I can't use their wifi that they paid for anymore! Please arrest them!
-
They are taking YOUR shit. Don't let them.
-
Well my neighbor said he needed myne for work just 1 time instead our WiFi went out 1 time and he had 5 electronics on it
-
Should've changed your router name to Stop Stealing My Wifi.
-
I wanna see the case go to court and they get humiliated and get there asses kicked out XD
-
Can i haz the code plox
-
Leave it they have no right to be cheap and steal your wifi, go tell them to get off their asses and get a job
-
Kek why not mess with them. With a good router i can reroute all their traffic to meatspin and turn their screens upside down

So my neighbors kept taking my car that I left my keys in... So one day.. I used a second set of keys to lock them in the car they were trying to take... #streetjustice

You should sue them out of anything.
-
Hahaha nice dude!
-
They threatened you because you locked them out of your wi-fi? And you gave in? Either way you look you are in the right. Let them sue you they wont be successful.
-
They threatened to sue

my wifi
Someone should shove a screwdriver down their weinerslot.
-
Ok so let me get this straight They, threatened to sue you, because you set up security for your own internet, after they stole your internet, which they shouldn't be using in the first place Ok glad to see everything is making perfect sense
-
>be them >dad try's to watch game of thrones >dad starts taking pants off >wifi doesn't work >damn you dinkleberg!
-
Say "Sue me for what? For you stealing my wifi without permission? And when I found out you stole it again and again? Now you're sueing because you are cheap assholes? Sorry, invalid. Step aside peasant."
-
They threatened to sue you because they couldn't use your wifi anymore? That's like someone threatening to sue someone after trying to steal their car and not being able to find the car keys
-
You should have let them sue, the case would have been laughed out of court.
