To all those 'thorn is not OP' posts.
You guys always say its not the gun, but its the player's fault. I disagree. This gun can put the best crucible player to the ground with 2 headshots. This gun IS overpowered and you thorners just don't want it nerfed.
If you want to flame me for not being good in crucible, go ahead. Idc, my skill is higher than yours anyway. I still have to see an flamer with a higher kd here...
Edit: all these scrubs flaming don't want their thorn nerfed.... ;)
Edit: most of you guys could only whine about 'lucky' headshots, so i changed that.
Yet another Edit: i'm not saying that the thorn owns me, i outgun them 80% of the time. But that doesn't take away the fact that its too powerful. A simple stability or range nerf should suffice.

3 RepliesHawkmoon kills faster. It's actually possible because of the luck in the chamber bonus to get a 1 hit kill headshot. Just saying. I've done it before. Not to say I'm good at crucible (cause I'm terrible) it's just that Hawkmoon is pretty bad ass. Nerf that shit now! Haha just kidding I don't care.

Thorn is a tad op. I don't think they should nerf the damage, just what time lingering damage kicks in. It's not the Thorn itself that kills me it's the DoT.

2 RepliesThese forums need a nerf....every second post is someone whining about thorn. TLW kills quicker and is more "op" than thorn, red death kills just as fast as thorn, three little words as well, both kill in two bursts, short to medium range vex can beat thorn as well. Any weapon with high caliber rounds help too making it harder to aim. Imagine how good people could be at this game if all that time spent whining and crying for nerfs was spent learning how to counter these so called op weapons....

All this shit is is nerf it it's op rather than something actually constructive like a way to supposedly make it balanced. Like a way that won't make it shit in pve again and not just a way to supposedly balance it for pvp. All the people like you cried about Suros and all auto rifles are shit for the most part now aside from a very select few. There are plenty of other guns that kill just as fast or faster, the thing that makes it unique is if someone can land 2 headshots and die they are guaranteed a kill because of the dot. I personally have never seen such a pathetic community that can't just adapt instead of crying for nerfs, and yes it is very possible for people to adapt, most just simply aren't willing to.

2 RepliesI think everyone should accept that this game will always have a meta-game and rather than make posts about it they should just go with it because Bungie are going to make changes whether they complain or don't complain or complain about the complainers complaining. Look at the last primary weapon change for example. I don't remember seeing any posts about needing auto-rifles further but it happened. Bitches should just go with the flow.

2 RepliesI don't like Thorn. I suck with Thorn. I did by Thorn a lot. I think it should be left alone (if it's going to reserve a nerf, make it a small one). The gun is an exotic. It's supposed to be overpowered.

12 RepliesI don't get why people complaints about Thorn that require 2 precise head shots (not lucky as you said) and not about Hawkmoon that with 2 "lucky" (this time lucky is used properly) body shots can down an enemy really fast! At least with Thorn the players are obliged to be a bit skilled to use this gun as intended, with the Hawkmoon.......no!
