For me, that's actually part of my problem. I see a lot of sense and logic on both sides of the fence. I am a fairly deep thinker and pondered and fought over this subject for many years, but as it is actually a battle of logic and theories, I was never able to stand to one side and say this is where I am. In time I just let go, and just accepted I really don't know where we came from, or in fact where we're going. I'm lazy to delve in specific argumental points to promote or defend a particular theory of concept, purely because it's parroting and promoting someone else's "theory". Wether it be science or a heartfelt and convinced religious standing, in the end, we don't know the roots of a determined concept or idea, because it's all just theories. Science may be able to come up with a fantastic manner of scientific investigation or whatever, but it wasn't too long ago that we thought the world was flat. I also find that the scientific community is particularly biased against a creationist standpoint. Wether it is a potential or not, there must always be a point in science where they need to admit they don't actually know instead of offering up more theories to fill in the gaps of what they can't figure out. I do have a lot of respect for Scientists who dedicate their lives in their profession, but I'm also respectful of people I knew who dedicate their lives for other people. Obviously that may be a different type of pursuit, but it's a dedication nonetheless. Appreciate your respectful response.

  • I am not trying to be rude i have genuine questions for you. Do you understand there is a huge difference between a theory vs Scientific Theory?

  • Not a problem. Don't worry about it. Simple answer to that would be no. I can't see any difference between a theory and scientific theory.

  • It's ok thanks Britton. I've said my piece. So I'll refrain from holding myself up to the flame on this one. I gave up on intellectual dick swinging a long time ago and I don't have an axe to grind. Quite surprising to read the link. It really does show a high level of arrogance against those deemed dumb enough to question evolution or science... Even to the point of inferring anyone who doesn't believe isn't "like us" or plain stupid or uneducated. That's a bullshit attitude. Never know... One day something monumental may happen and we'll all have a Christopher Columbus moment... Enjoy

  • I did read the OP, and I thought it was well written, but as I read further through into the replies, it became all too apparent that knowledge has gone to your head and you're full of it. You even referred a disbeliever as not "like us". How arrogant of you. I grew up a long time ago pal

  • That is everything to do with it, as that's what the entire post is about.
