This post makes me sad. Sad that there's another forum post about thorn. Sad that yet another person is clamoring for "weapon balance" in a casual game. Sad that the poster doesn't understand what OP actually means. And sad that Bungie may one day listen to all of these people and break my weapon again.
Edit: I suck at crucible. Yet I'm able to out gun a thorn user with Mida, voc, juju, and Vex. Just to name a few I used this weekend getting to ib rank 4.

I'm sorry. Perhaps "asshats" was harsh and undeserved. But I really don't think it's op. I tried using mine in the crucible and didn't have a great time. To me if it's that op anyone can use it. I was going for head shot kills and found I did a lot better with pulse rifles and mida. I can't get agree with a nerf just because it's popular. The last time they completely broke it in PVE. Having worked my ass off to acquire this weapon it would be a shame to Vault it just because people can't figure out how to counter it. If you ask me TLW is just as brutal. But if folks clamor enough Bungie has shown their willingness to cave before so maybe you'll get your wish.
