So the people who don't share your OPINION are automatically just flamers who don't know what they're talking about? That's a little full of yourself don't you think? Thorn is not op. Strafing it is so easy, and anything med-close is even easier. I'd say MIDA is way more frustrating to play against with the ridiculous strafe speed and even that is not op. There's about 5 guns that all play very differently but have the same ttk. I suck bad with thorn, have troubles going positive. But the vex, TLW, MIDA and juju make crucible easy for me. Each player has different play styles, strengths and weaknesses. What's good for some is terrible for others. You just have to know how to properly counter the gun

No, i'm not saying everybody who doesn't share my opinion is a flamer, but most them, in fact, are.

And what makes them flamers? You posted a topic that the majority of the community disagrees with, and not only that but stated your opinion on the Thorn as fact. Even going so far to say that people who don't agree with you are wrong. Of course people are going to react to that passionately and emotionally. You simply cannot state that your opinion is fact.
