i disagree, while Thorn indeed is strong, it's nowhere near being OP, but anyways, we would first have to define what OP is to be able to continue, and i certainly do not want to start that kind of discussion
what i wanted to tell you was - you mention (i will quote, to avoid confusion):

...now, please explain to me HOW exactly a 'simple range nerf' would make Thorn NOT kill in the same 2 shots?
yes, i would agree that the range on this thing might be bit too much, HOWEVER, if one can hit your head across the map with Thorn, they deserve to outshoot you even if you were using Sniper Rifle

No. Because that doesn't make any sense at all. They aren't supposed to outgun snipers in their range.

Edited by A K: 5/5/2015 9:38:31 AM...i think you fail to realize that maps in IB (i am taking that as an example, because outside IB Thorn doesn't seem to be an issue) are mid-range maps, so technically, its like this - let's imagine a real-life scenario where you have sniper rifle and i have say, desert eagle and we're shooting at each other from 50m distance (which is roughly the distance from bottom right doorway on blindwatch to the doorway upstairs above b) - whoever hits first is gonna win yes, if we were talking about REAL sniper distance, say, 1km away, i would never stand a chance with my eagle, but majority of the maps do not allow that sort of distance see what i mean? TL;DR - 'sniper distance' doesn't mean ANY distance you're shooting the sniper rifle from ;)
