But the real question is [b]how should it be nerfed?[/b]
And I think I have the answer.
First, let's look at the other exotic HCs. There is Hawkmoon and TLW.
[b]Hawkmoon[/b] will only 2 shot if you get a random bullet. Usually a 3/13 chance.
[b]TLW[/b] will two shot if two non-ADS shots are headshots. (This would be fine with a slightly slowly fire rate and the perk doesn't glitch)
However, Thorn is a two shot at nearly every range. So what can we change about that?
[b]The DoT needs to be made RNG[/b]. The number of damage done each tick should vary from 3-7 damage, and is decided randomly. This way, it is unlikely to two shot, however will always kill with 2 headshots and 1 body shot. This nerf will put it in place with other exotic HCs but above legendary.

Agreed, but I feel like that wouldn't do enough. Recoil can easily be overcome by any skilled player, and even with a nerfed range everyone would still use it, as the maps are mostly CQC centered.

Sounds good!, but bungie could also just nerf the effective range, or the stabilty.
