New thorn user here.... Although I have played pretty well using the thorn...I've been put down just as quick by a vex, red death, NITC, gelwinters, TLW, badger, MIDA, corrective measure, jolders, up for anything, coiled hiss, TFWPKY 1969, bad juju and whatever else is in the mix. I decided to eventually max my thorn after hating it and I've grown to love it. You can't say the gun is overpowered because bar the DOT, you can be 86'd pretty damn quick if you miss a shot. Yes it's powerful, but the player makes it.
