As we all know: No Land Beyond is infamously known for its uselessness. I disagree, I find that if you give this weapon to a skilled sniper and there will be headless bodies everywhere. However, This gun still has problems even if you know how to use it.
Recommended buffs:
Ammo Reserve
6 bullets in the mag, 6 in reserve?! That's ridiculously low. I say a big buff to this, maybe... 36 bullets in reserve? That sounds like a good number to me.
Accuracy
This gun is already hard enough to use on its own, the low accuracy on this gun doesn't make it any easier. In the words of Planet Destiny:
body shots count as Headshots, Headshots count as body shots, shots than are obviously Headshots miss, shots that obviously miss are Headshots.
If you make No Land Beyonds rounds more precise, it would help this gun a lot.
Impact
This buff isn't needed quite as much as the previous two, but a small buff to impact would be nice.
Alternate Perks
This isn't really needed at all, but it would make the gun more desirable overall if it had a better perk than Mulligan. Maybe Crowd Control, Outlaw, or Return to Sender?
Scope Light:
Pretty self explanatory.

Edited by FightinFinn 2-7: 5/6/2015 7:40:28 PMPersonally, I think all it needs is a 50% faster ROF (My grandmother could shoot a bolt action faster than guardian can) and a higher critical multiplier. (It is a risk reward weapon and should therefore act like one.) EDIT- and remove the pointless lens flare and iron sights should be 1x. (I don't care if its the future, iron sights don't zoom!)

Each kill with No Land Beyond should fill the target's inventory with No Land Beyonds.
-
I use it I wreck with it I love it!
-
The only thing it need is faster reload and more practical slights
-
They won't buff this gun in any near future.

I think its fine the way it is. Its a primary so ammo is easy to come by its also a sniper so things die alot quicker making you use less bullets. It forces you to make every shot count. A primary sniper would be op if it is easy to use. It has to be really hard to use so it rewards a player who is skilled to use it since its a primary.
-
I disagree about headshots i can manage a headshot from more than half way accross the map. Just keep your eye on the tip of the iron sight and your good to kill.
-
The only buff I feel it needs is to take it out of my primary slot lol

These are great ways to buff the weapon, but still keep its nature as a weapon of skill.
The Master perk already is like crowd control.
I personally dont think the no land beyond needs a buff and honestly, I think the slow rate of fire is what makes the gun unique. It forces the player to have to change the way they play to fit the gun. I do however wish they would change the perks to unflinching and third eye. These I feel would help with using the gun, but not buff it in any sort of way.

Anyone who says NLB needs a buff is just saying their aim needs a buff. NLB is devastating in skilled hands.

Edited by TerminalEnnui: 5/6/2015 8:03:34 PMIncrease handling speed, like the mors sniper in advanced warfare. I believe that is all it needs. It has the damage, just not the speed
-
Maybe MAYBE make it semi auto. Semi auto existed in ww1 bungie.
-
Crowd control would wear of by the time the bolt action was pumped
