I'm playing around with the API and I've developed a Java library so I can make an android app (w/o having to use HTML widgets, etc for authentication). My XBOX/PSN auth works perfectly. Now I'm just wondering how to "properly" get the players membershipID. I know I can call /Platform/Destiny/SearchDestinyPlayer/[name]/ but I just wanted to know if there was a more appropriate way to get it? FYI, I plan on putting my DestinyClient java library on github once I've completed it a bit more. Thanks.
