Should Xûr sell Etheric Light?
Would you buy Etheric light from Xûr or grind for it?
Edit: Remember, Xûr's strange coins are losing purpose cuz we've all gained exotics he sells

If xur sells etheric light it would make HoW useless dlc because everyone will be maxed level instantly, there wont be much of an incentive to grind

Yeah maybe with a limit 2 or 3 etheric lights a week. U need at least 100 of these or more if u have all the weapons. And the price like exotic shards. What is it 7 or 8 coins?!

Considering I have about 60+ exotics and don't even wanna count legendary weapons/gear I have to upgrade. All this non sense about ruining the DLC before it's out, and making it too easy is BS. It's about time and I have enough time invested in this game collecting all the above rewards and to be able to further use them at the new level I have to be burdened with collecting this etheric light along with all the new dlc gear and weapons. Just a little much if you ask me. Now if xur sold it for say even expensive for like 20 coins, at least I'd know I can get a few a week without depending on this games shitty rng. Or if when it drops in nightfall, iron banner, trials, or prison of elders it comes in qualities of more than one much like strange coins drops do. I dunno I guess us elites like myself that have reached true end game status and have 3 32s and every exotic and raid legendary x3 in the game just find it annoying to have to reup like this every expansion. At least they made it to where we just apply the etheric light and that's it. But not all of us only run one toon so depending on rng to get that much of it sucks.

1 ReplyNo. Etheric light is supposed to be end game and rare. If xur sold it everybody would be lvl 34 within moments with vendor armor n stuff. Earn it by grinding

2 RepliesEdited by KimHasselager: 5/8/2015 8:32:40 AMmaybe not sold by Xur for strange coins, but to make it harder, as the PoE might be tough, so to mix it up. make the new trader give you a chance for it as well ( It will never be sold by any form of vendor, we all know, but oh well ) E.g. 10 motes, 10 strange coins, 10 shards and 5000 glimmer or something?? FOR EACH ETHERIC LIGHT.

1 ReplyNo. Ffs the whole point is to not reach level cap week 1. It's xur sold ethric light, people would complain of lack of content because they reached level cap so fast. Not to mention "fake 34s". How they have set it up is perfect. I hope gear is bop, I hope the lights are bop, and I hope you get one piece of loot a week.

Considering you can get it in POE like Strange Coins are guaranteed in weekly heroics I would say no. So play POE and hope for some extras in the Nightfall.

4 RepliesNo he shouldnt but he should apply a etheric light to a weapon of your choice for a fair price of 200-250 coins, etherics to go on armor should have to be ground for. We currently have a situation where most people will have 3 34s with 50 level 32 guns.
