Should Xûr sell Etheric Light?
Would you buy Etheric light from Xûr or grind for it?
Edit: Remember, Xûr's strange coins are losing purpose cuz we've all gained exotics he sells

I think he should, but you should only be able to buy one per week per character, and they should be 35-50 coins a pop.

I really hope not, personally I don't think xur should've been in the game and exotics should have come from bountyesque quest chains but that probably would've been the most massive grind....... Anyway no etheric light from xur please

Players should not be able to reach max levels without doing endgame activities. Xur is not endgame, anybody between level 20-30 could just save up some coins and skip up to 34 without ever completing a single iron banner, raid, PoE or nightfall if he sold etheric light. Max level should feel rewarding, not handed out. If Xur sold etheric light, you might as well have let the vanguards sell lvl 30 gear in the beginning for a few marks. No, keep prison of elders as the main source. Keep it a semi-rare drop as well. Make sure people truly work for it. Nightfalls, IB and trials should drop them on very rare occasions. But xur should not sell them.

They will not lose purpose. He will sell new exotic gear with the house of wolves. Him selling esthetic light is just putting everything in easy mode

Don't get me wrong, if he was selling I'd be buying. But that would make it way too easy for everyone to hit the cap. You're not supposed to have every single piece of armor leveled up as high as it can possibly go. Thats just not supposed to happen. Maybe if he had a cap on the amount he sold, like 1 per week, that would be ok. But if he sells it like exotic shards, i.e. all you can eat, then that would suck in the long run
