Should Xûr sell Etheric Light?
Would you buy Etheric light from Xûr or grind for it?
Edit: Remember, Xûr's strange coins are losing purpose cuz we've all gained exotics he sells

Yes but maybe only in exchange for the Weapon and Armor Cores that come from PoE so that you at least have to do that in order to get Light easily.

All I want to know is how often does etheric light drop if it's in bunches of 2-3 no but if it's 1 than yah but make it like 20 coins or something

1 ReplyI don't like the idea of 'buying' your way to level cap right away, but I really hope etheric light drops fairly frequently from the end game content. Don't want to be grinding every activity every week just to be able to ascend all of my old goodies. Lots of stuff that need ascending in my inventories atm.

If Xûr sold etheric light, you could have people who have never completed a nightfall, raid, trails, iron banner, or prison of elders, and still reach 34. That's not right. No he shouldn't sell it and no he will not. Bungie knows better than that. Saw your 3rd edit. Etheric light does now only drop at PoE at 34. But even if it did, then I'm fine with that too makes it that much more of a challenge to hit 34 if you had to beat it as a 32. That's why it's [b]end game[/b] content. It's not supposed to be a breeze.
