Should Xûr sell Etheric Light?
Would you buy Etheric light from Xûr or grind for it?
Edit: Remember, Xûr's strange coins are losing purpose cuz we've all gained exotics he sells

3 RepliesI think he should but I understand the concerns about hitting max level almost immediately if he does. But also consider you need those for guns as well right? I mean I have probably 30+ guns to max out now. If I get 1 per week for PoE it's going to take until Destiny 2 to get everything leveled. And even at that point I'd probably want to level up lots of different armors with different abilities. Have some for PvE specific some doe PvP. Ones with different perks and ammo capacities. I think this is awesome now everyone won't have on the same 5 pieces of armor. But it might take a long time unless they update the NF drops to include it over ascendant stuff...

If he sells them it should be rare like once in 1-2 months and even then it should be expensive like 40-60 coins (if it is so rare that you eventually get to drop only one from Nightfall, who knows for sure)

People here are right. The Light must be earned, not easily bought. This would require skill in the game to actually become good. It will also make the game last a hell of a lot longer.

Maybe if there were a limit to one a week. This would be good for those who don't have time or friends to do end game stuff. They would have a path to 34. It would take a while but it would be there.

Nope, people will be bitching about not being a true lvl. 34. The iron banner gear is a pretty good example... I really don't give a sh*t how you got to lvl. 34 personally.. as long as you enjoyed it getting there!
