I found this out and confirmed it the other day and thought you all should know. If you have a special weapon(like a sniper) with surplus, you get extra ammo in every box you pick up including heavy. It is like having the extra ammo from ruin wings on any character with a surplus weapon equipped. I also tested it with my Titan with ruin wings and it does stack. Without RW I found 4 ghorn rockets per box with a sniper equipped with surplus, and 6-7 rockets with RW equipped. If everyone already knew this, I apologize for clogging up the forums, but I thought that those of you that didn't know should. P.S. This is gonna be super useful after patch 1.2.0 since they are fixing the icebreaker (heavy ammo glitch) actually fixing the issue with switching to icebreaker, waiting for ammo to accumulate and switching guns back and carrying over ammo. They are probably fixing this at the same time they are fixing the issue in crucible where switching special weapons deletes all your special ammo. If they failed to fix both these bugs at the same time, crucible would be chaotic with shotguns again.
