The sights on WOC are awful compared to fatebringer.

Why does one need to be universally better? Both have situations where one is better than the other, my suggestion... Carry both. Fatebringer is more versatile and once it is 365 it will outgun WoC in more situations than it does now.

Depends on the task really I'd rather have fatebringer for a general weapon than word of crota anyday. Yeah single damage output is better with word of crota for majors or whatever but thats why we have a special and heavy weapon slot. Arc shields are also more common than void. And when house of wolves hits I'd still rather fatebringer. Honestly the only weapon from crota I like and frequently use is black hammer.

As they both have their place, in an arc burn nightfall fatebringer will do more damage than word of Crota. There, I proved you wrong and my grimoire of 2890 beats yours. Double smack down.

At times. Fatebringer is better for taking out crowds and WoC is better for hammering a single enemy. Each has its use. WoC is pretty fun on a Gunslinger running Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's Trance. With three stacks of GT, it's really easy to land all 17 shots with WoC. Fatebringer has better utility, but WoC can outdamage it thanks to its stability, fire rate, and Phantom Gift. WoC is actually tied with Thorn and TLW for the highest fire rate for Handcannons. Fatebringer may have higher impact, but WoC can get more shots out and faster.
