2 Repliesi can prove you right: Word of Crota can deal bonus damage to all Hive majors inside and outside of the Crota raid. Fatebringer can only deal bonus damage to oracles and oracles can only be found in VoG.

Depends, fatebringer is best gun for mobs. Single targets then yes word of Crota is better IMO

I have both and I disagree, for crowd control Fatebringer is a better choice.
