Obsidian mind or thunderlord?
I have no good heavy weapons but my helmet only gives me 27 light so that's trash too, since I don't have enough strange coins for one of them, which should I buy, obsidian mind weapons or thunderlord?

By now it's probably too late to help but I think Obsidian mind is a much more useful exotic. However it's also more common to acquire. Thunderlord isn't the best exotic weapon or even the best exotic heavy. It's all about rarity for that gun with Xur. It's drop rate isn't too low though. Always check the stat rolls on the armor because they change. This latest Obsidian mind was a great stat roll.

Obsidian mind because it gets you to higher light level and Obsidian mind is the best armor piece for voidwalkers

Depends, if you are only using Obsidian because of the light level I wouldn't buy it. Once X pac drops you can upgrade your helmet or buy a vendor one with more light. If you plan on using obsidian on a void walker paired with bad juju then I would say buy it.

Have both and I have allot more fun with obsidian mind for sure. An obsidian mind warlock has the potential to be awesome in POE. I do agree you are more likely to see obsidian mind again though.

As much as I love Obsidian Mind, this is like the 5th or 6th time he's sold it. It's safe to assume hell bring it again. Thunderlord on the other hand, this is the first, and maybe only time for a long time when you can get this weapon free from the clutches of RNG.

Thunderlord. You'll be able to buy high level helmets in a week to hit the new level cap. Or you can upgrade a legendary you already own with Etheric Light or whatever it's called. Obsidian Mind will likely be sold again before Thunderlord.

I have around 870 hrs in, I have NEVER seen thunderlord drop in game. I have friends who have it but I've seen way more gjallarhorn's. I think you'll regret not picking up the heavy. I was contemplating getting 3.

Lol I have the same topic up right now and I gotta say it's a pretty dead heat. On one hand, Xur will prob sell OM again, on the other, there's more ways to get exotic guns than helmets. Still haven't decided

For strikes obsidian mind and bad juju with 3 void walkers is pretty much the most fun you can have in this game.

Thunderlord. One of the best heavies in the game, and Im pretty sure you'll get a better drop from prison of elders or some end game portion of destiny once HoW drops
