It's rng no one earns anything dude.... its all in luck..... I have a buddy that got the game before me has completed both raids over 100 times killing crota regularly as sword bearer on all 3 characters.... he has yet to get fate bringer gally or the crux.... I on the other hand have every exotic weapon and my stats are far from his.... I would say he earned it having over 2900 grimmiore and I only have 2525 grimmiore

So how would this buddy feel if the day after he landed a Ghorn on his 101 crota completion...only to see Xur was selling it to everyone the next day? RNG is not luck, it's a numbers game. Keep grinding until you earn what you want most...even if it takes a long time. Several guns I've wanted took hundreds of hours to land but that's part of the game. You have to keep grinding. Also, my point is that only specific guns should not be sold, not all of them. Thunderlord is definitely in the shouldn't sell catagory.

You don't understand, he didn't land anything, it was LUCK. Don't you understand RNG? RANDOM loot generator. RANDOM. It is all by chance, and has nothing to do with skill and reward. The only legit way to earn it is to buy if from xur, because you know what you are buying and are not relying on RNG. This is coming from a guy who has had a thunderlord for 3 months so don't tell me I've bought it from xur as your defense against me.

I understand your point completely and it sucks when u grind that hard for something only to come up empty handed. I do understand RNG...i just wish they had a cap on it for certain guns so people that worked hard for it can only get it from Xur. Grimmore cap or something...

He would be excited that it's available dude... rng is random no amount of grinding changes that.... no matter how many times you play it the chances of getting an exotic will always be random
