Every time I see this argument I die laughing. So far there is little evidence that the previous generation is "holding back" Destiny. Plus completely leaving the old gen behind is a horrible business move for bungie. More players=more money

You know aside from when the devs said they couldn't add more vault spaces because of limitations on previous consoles.

That's their excuse but just how much truth is in it. We've all seen some pretty big games on PS3 and 360. I don't think they are telling the whole truth there.

They outright said we got less vault space cause last gen couldn't handle it

I think they'll do it with Destiny 2 for sure though. And they had to drop some features on last gen to upgrade storage space, so that seems like sound enough evidence to me.
