I lost to these guys so many times that I planned to ignore them, rewards were not worth it. I was hex at that time and even with a havels I kept dying in one mess up -gets claw swiped and before I could roll I've spikes kill me wtf- I farmed loyce souls and went back to being tank. After I killed him I went back and I won on first try. Havels, santieres spear to poke. Try to stay under luds belly the whole time and when not in then align them so only have to worry about one when one casts ice run under one. Try to focus on lud because he doesn't get buffed when nearly dead. When zallen close he gets enraged and heals faster than you can hurt so lud first. Stay under zallen when enraged. Biggest tip is tank the claws instead of dodge. Havels+40 end and they can't claw through anything. (Take the npcs, they good distractions when you need to heal

They are the only boss I haven't beat solo or with people. I have no motivation to even go near them haha

Yhea rewards aren't with it, but my inner completionists. I went to NG and i completely forgot to fight royal rat :( the big one. Oh well when you can kill fume and allone no trouble that rat was probably nothing. Havels armor those cats. When I said havels at first I meant shield.. But to win armor and shield gave me a lot more chances. Less armor and it's death but if you survive their attacks they attack your npc and then quick heal and attack for brief period with no fear. I would help but I went to NG and I'm at lost sinner. ... He was easy solo first time around but when those mages jumped in to help him on NG that's when it all went to shi t

I only wear the xanthous robes XD powerstance great swords and I can only get hit a couple times.

You need some armor there. I always like to have a fallback...I can fast roll in havels so weigh isn't the issue for me XD

I got extremely lucky and beat the two with a 3 npc summon shit fest on my first attempt, wasn't as hard as I anticipated. It usually helps if you have the summons distracting one while you fight the other, unless they start to pull random aggro switches.

Do not summon an NPC for this fight, makes them harder to kill.

Edited by George Foman: 5/11/2015 4:35:54 PMGet the gowers ring and two hand the blossom kite shield. Bring some green blossoms as well for faster regen. If you really want to go overkill, bring chloranthy+2 and lightning Quartz ring +2.

What I did was summon an NPC and had them be a distraction until I made it to the fog gate before sending them home. Then, I quickly buff my sword and run in. You just got to try and pull off as much damage off as you can on the first one before the 2nd one shows up. If you can't kill Lud before Zallen joins in, then just take it slowly and hit Lud when you can. When it gets down to a 1v1, it gets easier, but beware, when it gets down to 1v1 and the boss is at 50% health, they will do a health regen buff, making it pointless to attack them. Just dodge around until the buff wears off and it should be an easy kill.
