The fact that you can out gun thorn 80% of the time goes to show that it is easily countered and doesn't really need a nerf. Also I counter thorn about 60%of the time with VoC. So, ya know, strafe?

Not if you wait for the DoT to stop and your health to regen. Find a nice quiet corner pull out your shotgun and just chill for a sec.
