no and not going to for some stupid shader/emblem in the game. when if I wanted to support them I would do it through a more reputable charity instead where I would know more of the money is more likely to go the cause then the what may be done with the t-shirt. most people that did it not really probably give a damn about what happened in Nepal, they did it for the shade and emblem so they could be a special snowflake in the game for having it.

  • I like the shirt, probably would buy it just for that. Might as well give some money to Nepal while I'm at it

  • "when if I wanted to support them I would do it through a more reputable charity instead where I would know more of the money is more likely to go the cause then the what may be done with the t-shirt." clearly didnt read anything about the donation process or the charity that they will be donating to

  • You're preaching to the choir bud. Aren't you old enough or realized yet that nobody gives a shit about anything if it doesn't directly effect them. People are so selfish it's sickening but hey, I can't do shit about that so I laugh at everyone and Pity the fool who thinks life starts and stops with them. The only thing people give a shit about on here is getting "ghorn" or "gally".

  • That's how charity works. Most don't do it to help the actual cause. They do it to feel better about themselves or for the perk of donating, in this case, the shader, shirt, and emblem. That being said, who cares why someone donated? As long as the money is being donated it all helps regardless of the amount. Slamming people for donating for the wrong reasons doesn't help the charity. It pushes people away from doing so because they feel like they're not doing it right. Donations are donations and they all help.

  • Unlike everyone else who must defend their precious game and shader, I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Jesus, aren't you just the jolliest -blam!-ing guardian this side of the forums. Make your point and move on, quit being a -blam!-ing buzz kill with your troll responses. You have been muted.

  • You can say this for almost any charity. In an ideal world people would always give to charity but in reality most people do because of sponsoring someone they know, because everyone else is doing it ( ice bucket challenge) or because they get something for it ( charity auctions, raffles etc) whilst you can turn your nose up at these charity drives and the people donating you can't say they havn't raised a lot of money

  • I like their cause and what they do. I fully support Nepal and what had happened to them (earthquake). If you are going to hate, then please go somewhere else.

  • Who cares if it was for the t-shirt or not. If bungie hadn't made the offer than there would be less donations and every bill makes a difference. If you donate some other way good for you but that doesn't mean you have the right to degrade the people around you.

  • Wrong there would not be less, for what bungie raised probably did not even make a dent in the total amount raised for it to begin with. LOL getting butthurt over what I said proves my point that more than likely most only did it for the ingame item and not really because they cared.

again the amount that bungie raised and then the actual amount that was sent is barely a dent in the total amount raised. so yes it may have been less by a small margin but by no means by any significant amount to make any difference if it was there or not. again most only did it for the shader and emblem and then to pat themself on teh back saying they did a good deed, when if they really cared as much as they claim they would have donated it directly to a charity instead with no expectations of anything in return for it.

  • Again the motive of donating matters nil
