Every game, and person, is different. This game wants you to be engaged, not just run and gun. Think how to manage what you want with what you have; some people like doing this. Some people want to keep every level 3 green gun and every level 6-10-12 blue gun and armor in case they want to start a new character. You have to draw the line somewhere.
