I just downloaded the game today, and I'm really not sure what to think of it. My first hour consisted of being pissed off at microtransactions and long install times. After getting through a few missions, a child likely under the age of 12 took me under his wing and did his best to explain. I learned about endless grinding, severe limits on free to plays, among other things.
While many aspects of the game were frustrating, I actually enjoyed my time with my underaged stuttering companion. I haven't hit the grind part yet, but so far it's promising.
TL;DR Warframe, few hours in, not sure what to expect.
So any tips? should I just uninstall it? Is it good?

Great game. 1200+hours.

I have like 24+ hours on the game still going strong. It's a great game. Get into a strong/ large clan.

I played that game for 3 years. I raged quit when people used a bunch a money that would make their 1 hour character better than my 3 YEAR CHARACTER. If you can get over that though, then the game very enjoyably. Especially for a free game.

Its a fun game. But if you don't like grinding uninstall it. The game put grinding in destiny to shame haha

I am a mastery rank 19. I can say all weapons, warframes, and companions can be obtained with out paying a dime. The game gets to become I grind fest when ever you ho for a new warframe. For the sake of me the grindfest came when I was trying to get the Brakk. DE gives away color pallets with each holiday, and some cosmetics can be obtained with out platinum.

You can get just about everything in the game without platinum, save for certain cosmetics.

I take great delight in steaming through levels, slicing everything to ribbons with my sword. I only shoot when I absolutely have to. Otherwise I am sword all the way!

You can unlock everything without paying a dime minus cosmetic items.
