I hope not but if he does I hope there is a one per week limit on buying them.

Sounds good. Most players have 3 characters. All you need is to get one to 34. Run the events all the events and hope you get 3 more. Upgrade the next character and try to repeat. I think getting one to 34 will make it easier for the rest.
