I am so curious as to these deep space anomalies. It won't be the covenant because they just come straight up and attack, they don't dilly dally taking their time. It must be the promised flood return, hence why chief sought out mendicant bias. Or, even better, the precursors.

If the Precursors ever do come back and their motives are bad I doubt it will be in the Reclaimer trilogy. The Precursors are end game material.
-
Lol it is the covenant

Edited by Kafuu Chino: 5/17/2015 3:15:00 AMNope. The Covenant remnants wouldn't have FERO be this urgent about the matter. It's something else entirely that's fucking with slipspace out in deep space.

Have you heard about what's happening in the escalation comics? That one elite guy from spartan ops has the whole Janice key and can use the forerunner tech
-
You realize all precursors are dead right? They turned themselves into the flood.
-
Never specifically stated. Some fled out of reach, some turned to flood powder.

Edited by ROBERTO jh: 5/12/2015 8:56:05 PMStill, seeing as how the Flood are the Precursors, the distinction doesn't matter as much.

Wow that sounds a lot more exciting and better than my theory lol. Either way I hope your right, I've been dying to see the flood make a comeback.

When they do come back I want them to be done with the horror aspect they had in CE. They deserve it, they're as scary as the necromorph from Dead Space, but the games haven't shown it!

I loved the suspense of the first flood mission in halo ce
-
Agreed, although their infection process in Halo 3 was quite....disturbing. I'm sure with next gen technology the flood will be even more terrifying than ever lol.
-
Well apparently a flood infection form invaded the spirit of fire

Edited by DEAD MAN: 5/12/2015 11:28:24 AMYeah I read the comic, hopefully we find it in the story mode and learn what happened to the crew.

Probably all became a flood form, even the three Spartans.
