What's that thing on the back? (I suppose the fingers are its head)

Bad choice of words. Is the thing at the back a curled up tail or some kind of head that's attached? Hard to see on phone

It's a bundle of intestines. It has two anuses/sets of large intestines. They constantly grow, eventually pushing out the back end forming a tail like object. They're more for attracting mates than actual functionality as it excretes waste by regurgitation.
