I usually use magic unleashed which takes 57 intellect :/ and about 18 soul spears kills him every time, which is weird cos im a strength build

I'm running a str/dex build but lately I've been putting more into my int/faith. Just kind of messing with magic for fun. Vig -40 Sta-20 End-31 Atn-11 Str-96 Dex-46 Adp-10 Int-31 Faith-35 I think that once I get my magic up there...bam lol

Yeah, invest into attn trust me it helps :p goes from 12 soul spears to 18 :p

I don't find my soul spears do that much damage though, what am I missing?

You leveled your staff? I've got +10 and infused it with magic, I think it also does more damage with high intellect , mine does around 600 damage with a ring on

Ugh I think the witchtree branch is the only staff I leveled. Which one are you using? I've found and bought almost everything in the game, chances are I have one or know where to find it.

I use the staff of wisdom, it's the strongest staff for pure sorcery but beware you can't use hexes or miracles with it, only sorcereries, the sorcery clutch ring is good to have aswell

I'm also a bit fuzzy on how infusing a weapon with magic works. I understand infusing fire, lightning etc, but what does magic do?
