The higher your rank the higher the chances to get shaders and a ship, so yes, same amount of work, but with lower chances of reward.

no this is something that is a common misconception, every package is RNG from the same pool of items there is no increased likelihood depending on rank

Yes there is. Not a single person has received a ship or shader from getting rank 3. With the amount of players in the game that would be impossible if it was true rng. Try again.
