What am I doing wrong?!

Your attacks are too predictable, and you have no follow up

How would i fix that?

You have to learn to follow up with an additional attack, take for instance my gunblade, it allows me to slash, and as soon as the slash lands, I'm able to pull the trigger, you have to figure out how to chain attacks
