What's your oldest memory about the off topic forum?
Mine would probably have to be the whole Kitchen 8 thing back when this forum was still called "The Flood".
Next best guess would be when the option to nuke the forum came up from the admins because we were naughty. There was a stick at the top of the forum (I think posted by Achronos) for a long while.

14 RepliesI remember when this place had about 30-40 regulars and it was such a tight knit group that I went weeks without anyone even acknowledging my presence. Becoming accepted around here was very hard back then. Everyone would just flat out ignore you. You were either a part of the flood, or you were literally nobody until you found a way to get people to actually talk to you. And when that magical day happened.. you were basically insulted and picked on to see if you ran away crying. But at least you knew that you were finally becoming accepted.

I remember glorious porch day and myself originally coming to the forums thinking it will get me Recon armor in halo 3. Came around 2007 and stayed for a couple years then totally forgot about this place. Came back due to interest in destiny saw the shit desticle community and worse game and re-descovered the flood.
