Hi everyone I hope you're all well,
I'd like to ask you all, new and old members a question....what does the D.o.D mean to you? What in your eyes is it all about and what does it stand for in your opinion? :-)
When this started out back last July as a small idea in a thread that became this massive gathering of gaming fathers to me it stood for brotherhood, family, friendship, comradery. Over the past few months some of the things I've seen people do for eachother is unparallelled to any other group I've ever been in.
I've said this a thousand times before and will say it a thousand times to come but thank you to you all that have come together to join together as gaming dads and share experiences and some relaxed gaming with eachother you are amazing and have not only really changed my outlook on gaming going forward but I'm sure your own and other gaming fathers thoughts on gaming aswell.
So what does D.o.D mean to you?
As always till we meet in the stars guardians...

Dod to me has been a lifesaver. I gave up on playing with others because of harassment and random people not understanding married life and fatherhood duties. Recently my wife decided she was done with me. I totaled our only car. After getting us both vehicles and her leaving, I was laid off from work and burned my left hand 2nd degree. Now I can't find a new job and unemployment has denied my first two weeks of benefits. Without the support kind words and understanding of my fellow clan members I would have given up long ago...video games are my stress relief the guys from DoD Arc are my family. I would also probably be homeless soon, they decided to start a gofundme account to help me get back on my feet while my hand is healing. A couple members of Arc had run into financial problems, one was going to run out of xbox live gold.....the others internet was going to be shut down........the guys in Arc pulled together and helped these guys keep playing. Exceptional people and I am greatly honored to be counted among them! This brotherhood that started from a forum post is the one of the best things I stumbled across before the beta started. Great people come together to help each other out.
