PvPers are ruining this game
You know who you are. You're the bottom feeding T-bagging scum who have drifted over from Call of Duty. You looked out your grimy windows and saw a beautiful space epic RPG shooter and you thought, "hey that might be fun!"
With Doritos fuzz on your fingers and Mt. Dew stains on your shirt you traveled to the land of MMO's bringing your poor sportsmanship with you while the scent of B.O. and virginity traveled in your wake.
Upon your arrival you marveled at a game that seemed to have it all, and then you promptly shit all over it.
Now gone are the days when Autorifles were useful. "Nerf this," you said! "Nerf that!"
"Its not fair," you cried whenever you were killed by a popular Exotic. "My sense of self worth is directly tied with my k/d."
Now the forums are full of semi-literate trolls and Beta Males, whining and crying about this or that.
"The Thorn sucks."
"The thorn is too OP!"
"Blade dancers aren't fair!"
"Shoulder dash isn't fair!"
"Warlock melee isn't fair!"
Now a once beautiful game is a zombie horror of what it once was. With pieces cut out and others hastily stitched in Destiny has become a Frankenstein's Monster.
Iron Banner couldn't make you happy, the Trials of Osiris won't either.
This game is so much more than the Crucible, but your constant bitching, and whining, and griping affects the Glorious land of PvE and you are only a small demographic of a larger community.
"But Crucible takes more skill because it is real people therefore I'm better than you," you say between bites of your most recent hot pocket.
I disagree. PvP elitists are scum. You're either a boohoo whiner that "everybody uses (insert good or fun gun)"
Or you are a pathetic braggart who thinks they are amazing because they can blink and use a shotgun.
Stop complaining. Stop whining. Quit bitching about a game that you have clearly sunk more than 100 hours into. If you really hated it you would have quit.

I play both. If the pve didn't get boring so fast I would play as much pvp. But I've never cried for a nerf on anything. I love RPGs and pvp is usually my least favorite aspect of them. But there's simply not enough RPGish content in this game to keep me away from pvp. Can't wait until fallout 4 comes out and I can escape this community forever.

4 RepliesI've played many MMO's and I can tell you this much: PvP players in those communities are the absolute worst. They can't handle the fact that they may have lost legitimately so they have to complain about an OP class/weapon/etc. Your thinking that these people solely came from games like CoD is completely false because most of the PvP whiners I've seen usually are whining about an MMO. Make no mistake though, the biggest whiners BY FAR are PvP players, from any game.

And I'll tell you that after playing shooters since I was 8years old, (Doom, Quake, then Halo), destiny is a shooter that has a bigger diversity in how to play "PvP". This is comparing to the simple shooters, and most shooters do keep their versus mode mechanics simple. So maneuvering over to Destiny from all the previous generation shooters, there are many "weird" mechanics that we haven't seen. A shooter with super magic. Imagine if Mass Effect had PvP...we'd have the same lil problems: needed and buffed guns out the wazzou! Twitchy titans dropping their loads because they stumble without a good shot. Always something to complain about. That's okay you know? But it does get annoying to hear all the darn time. Especially from squeakers. Remember that this is a shooter of it's own. Well formulated and in a progressive forging over time. I like it. (Not all "PvPers" are whiny)---so hold my drink :) Haven't touched Halo Reach since September...says something. And I LOVED Reach. Take care guardians.

Haha a little dramatic but i fuks wit it. Crucible in this game is shit though, all i see nowadays are people blinking with shotguns or people spamming the thorn/last word. I play pvp for a challenge, i like outshooting people with a good gun but i dont rely on a shotty or OP handcannon to get kills. The crucible is pretty much garbage and its too gone to bring back. Its gonna get worse

I have never asked for a nerf besides the original mythoclast because that was absurd. Next time you decide to blanket every pvper with a ridiculous image just remember that you lack the spacial reasoning and reaction times to enjoy half of this game. Please do us all a favor and kill yourself. Edit: I'm all in favor of separating pvp and pve weapon tweaking. Shotguns made a great example of that. You though, you aren't one to compromise. You are just a whiner combating other whiners. We all want this game to be great. How about we find solutions instead of dividing the community? Also, kill yourself.
