Lol. I'll be the first to admit I'm not good at PvP. It's a satire post.
-
Yup. Didn't even need to look at the OP's stats to know he was horrible at PvP. Nobody decent at it would create a thread like this.
-
And no decent human being would need to rationalize a reason for a hilarious satire. You're the one with the problem if stats matter that deeply to you.
BTW, I also suck at PvP, and don't give a shift.
Edited by NathanW18: 5/13/2015 1:50:19 AMIt's not 'satire' and it's not hilarious. The OP is butthurt, because auto rifles have been nerfed. He hides behind 'satire', so people don't call him out on his bullshit. Stats are also important. Players with poor stats are more likely to complain about PvP being shit, because they do badly the majority of the time.
-
And people who feel that they are "Good" at a VIDEO GAME would claim that their stats are very very important and look down on anyone with lesser stats.
-
Edited by NathanW18: 5/13/2015 2:48:09 AMStats are important if you're interested in winning in Destiny. I like to win at anything I attempt to do. I know that everybody can't be good. I just find it funny when a thread pops up and someone says that PvP is 'boring' or 'not fun' (or some variant of this). 95% of the time, they have a negative K/D. I have a feeling I know why they're not having much fun. I don't look down on people that can admit to being bad, don't complain, but strive to be better. I have massive respect for those guys. People that are bad, but blame the game for their poor play annoy me. The people that blame their poor play on people using 'OP' weapons also annoy me.
-
Lol, I guess I'm just a dirty causal. I don't play games to "Be good" or "Win at them", I play games to have fun. A rather novel and outdated concept I'm sure, but I enjoy it. I may not be the best at video games, and I may not have the greatest stats, but I don't care. I aim to have fun. So forgive me if I don't get why some people obsess over stats. I just don't get it. Calm down and have fun.
-
Eh, that's fair enough. I obviously play games to have fun (who doesn't?), but when I step into PvP, my main goal is to win the match. I love to compete. High K/D is how you win at Destiny's PvP. That's why I care about it.
-
Edited by Finisher7119: 5/13/2015 4:15:40 AMLol, I love the K/D. Since I'm primarily in PvE, I get a K/D of 180, maybe better...if I'm not riding my sparrow off a cliff...suicide puddling...or killing randoms (read myself) with my rocket launcher. Edit: I'm not to competitive by nature, so PvP just isn't appealing to me.

My favorite part was:
You know who you are. Your the bottom feeding T-bagging scum who have drifted over from Call of Duty. You looked out your grimy windows and saw a beautiful space epic RPG shooter and you thought, "hey that might be fun!"
...wait, what game were we PvP Scum looking at? Did I get lost on my way to playing No Man's Sky and wound up in this shit-heap of a game?
-
Depends, were you from CoD?
-
Nah, Titanfall and Battlefield. And Dark Souls. :P I think Dark Souls part is why I'm such an asshole despite not being a CoDsucker.
-
XD CoDsucker. I like that. I'm gonna use that. Thanks.
