Well the first thing I'd do is lay out the list of things I want to accomplish in a public speech
1. Pull more funding into education and draft new educational system plans
2. Put additional funding into medical studies and the health care system
3. Legalize gay marriage across the U.S. Because I honestly think those one sided conservatives need to grow up
4. Create more programs for children in urban areas to realize that they have a role in the community and they need to do a share
5. Get people off of welfare and into working positions in the communities
6. Pull out of the Middle East unless Isis gains full influence- really what's the point when the Middle East keeps falling over like a house of cards that won't stay up
7. Create a more fair and balanced tax system required for usage by the IRS
8. Teach everyone the greatness of diverse opinions so that we can stop arguing like uncivilized animals and get along better

I finally stumbled upon another democrat! But I would actually send infantry soldiers to battle ISIS, due to the more power they're gaining
-
Well actually I grew up in a conservative family and i wanted ask am I a democrat? I always knew I had a different opinion than most of my family but I had no idea
-
There was no political influences on my family, I'm sure my parents don't consider themselves part of a political party and I know my brothers don't, I kind of just found out that democracy is better. Republicanism tries to be orthodox which I really don't like because they throw religion in other people's face when they can't come up with anything, but obviously not all conservatives are bad or do that
-
It's true my dads a bit of a bigot no offense intended because he has the mentality that gay marriage isn't real marriage and that gays shouldn't have the same rights but at the same time as far as political views go some conservatives do come up with good Ideas. My idea for a flat percentage tax ratio actually came from a family reunion when we were brainstorming ways to fix the tax system
-
You're like me! I hear all these kids talking politics at school, some of them obviously are biased and base their ideas off of stereotypes (it's a mostly conservative school, only other liberal I know is one of my teachers lol) but some of them have great ideas about how to fix things like welfare and whatnot
-
Love it all but where in the world will we get the funding for this???? Also how can we get people off welfare and into real jobs. After maybe doing some of the stuff above we will be taxing the shit out of Americans. No jobs would be created nor investing. Unless you mean gov jobs but those are paid by "the taxpayer". Honestly we too -blam!-ed up to get out of the hole we are in.
-
Honestly I've always believed that taxes based around equal percentages is the way to go for full balance. It makes sure that there are no loop holes and the IRS can't scam people out of additional payments. I agree that it would be extremely hard to get the kind of money to accomplish some of this but with the U.S. Education system failing and at least in my opinion with the health care system needing a revamp I think some of it is necessary. If we can create a balanced health care and education system I think it would bring some more stability to the economy and the efforts to clean up urban cities might help with some of these protests in urban areas
-
I agree with you 100% on the tax issue. No loopholes. Healthcare need revamp but I think should be drawn out over time. Same with other civil issues. Doing things immediately might hurt the economy to much. Honestly I believe that if we do something with the educational system we need to clean slate and restart. The way money is funded to schools is absurd.
-
I agree the way schools are funded is practically set so that a portion of the students will fail and as for the health care system the way the process of actually getting medical attention is absurd with the process of hospital "beds" and in many cases people with various illnesses both mental and physical aren't getting medical attention properly due to overcrowding. I often wonder if the government simply doesn't care about us that much anymore
